These prices are effective as of June 1, 2021, but are subject to change without notice.


The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Our fee for basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Availability of staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to your initial call for service
  • Coordination of services selected whether being that of burial, cremation, donation to science or shipping to another state or country
  • Arrangement of funeral or memorial services
  • Coordination with others that may contribute or participate at the funeral service
  • Preparation and submission of obituary notices
  • Preparation and filing of necessary legal documents, authorizations, permits, insurance claim and assignment forms
  • Facility expense such as utilities, maintenance, administrative equipment and costs, insurance, license fees and governmental compliance

This fee of basic services of funeral director and staff will be added to the total cost of funeral services and merchandise that you select. (This fee is already included in our charge for direct cremation, immediate burial, forwarding and receiving of remains.)

Preparations of the Deceased

Embalming

Embalming is not required by law except in certain special cases. However, embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to select a service that would not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Refrigeration

Refrigeration

It is the policy of Willowbrook Funeral Home to require refrigeration of un-embalmed remains within 4 hours of being brought into our care when embalming has not been authorized. Additional charges of $50.00 per day will be incurred after 14 days.

Direct Cremation (Range of Prices) $1,800.00 to $7,500.00

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is cardboard.

This charge includes: Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, transfer of deceased from place of death to funeral home (within a 20 mile radius), refrigeration, transportation to the crematory, the crematory fee and a discount of ($1,175.00). This charge does NOT include visitation, funeral or memorial services in our chapel, graveside, at a church or local facility.


A. Direct Cremation with container provided by purchaser. (All such containers must meet any applicable state or crematory requirements.) $1,800.00

B. Direct Cremation with alternative cremation container provided by funeral home. $1,900.00

C. Crematory Fee (Already included in Direct Cremation Charge) $375.00

D. Mailing of Cremated Remains (If Applicable) $125.00

Immediate Burial (Range of Prices) $1,800.00 to $5,600.00

This charge includes: Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, transfer of deceased from place of death to funeral home (within a 20 mile radius), refrigeration, transportation to cemetery within a 20 mile radius and a discount of ($800.00). This charge does NOT include visitation, funeral or memorial services in our chapel, graveside, at a church or local facility.


A. Immediate burial with container/casket provided by purchaser. (All such container/caskets must meet any applicable state or cemetery requirements.) $1,800.00

B. Immediate burial with minimum casket provided by funeral home. $2,600.00

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home  $2,900.00

This charge includes: Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, transfer of deceased from place of death to the funeral home and embalming or other preparation of remains, obtaining necessary documents. This charge does NOT include any type of visitation, funeral or memorial services in our chapel, graveside, at a church or local facility, transportation beyond a 20 mile radius or merchandise of any type.

Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home  $2,100.00

This charge includes: Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, transportation from Midland International Air and Space Port and transportation to cemetery within a 20 mile radius. This charge does NOT include any type of visitation, funeral or memorial services in our chapel, graveside, at a church or local facility or merchandise of any type.

Insurance Filing Fee 

3.5% of assigned amount

When using insurance to secure payment of funeral services, we use a third party to verify status of policy and for immediate payment of services. This third party will deal directly with the insurance company on your behalf, obtain all necessary documents for the claim and pay only the assigned amount to the funeral home. Any remaining benefit will be paid to the beneficiary or beneficiaries of the policy directly from the insurance company with NO additional fee.
